Dear Students,

It is hereby informed that the university has released the notification for summer term registrations on 15.06.2024.

Students who are not registered in the regular semesters and having no grades will not be able to fill the registration forms on iCloud.

All such students shall report to ERP (B-024) with the filled attached form and submit the hardcopy latest by 20.06.2024. After 20.06.2024 no form shall be accepted for the same.

Other students who are registered in regular semesters and displaying DB/NE grades on their Grade Cards available on iCloudems can fill the online form available on iCloudems Login on following path:

Clarification on Admit Cards and Debarred Criteria/Summer Term

Dear Students, 

As the university End Term Examinations are approaching, scheduled to commence from 11.06.2024, we understand that there may be questions regarding eligibility, admit cards, and the summer term for students who are debarred in courses due to unmet university academic requirement criteria which were emphasized many times. 

To provide clarity, please take note of the following important points: 

1. Please rely only on official notifications on the university website and the Learning Management System (LMS). Visit: University Website URL 

2. Admit cards are now accessible through students' iCloudems login. Ensure you complete the course feedback (Turn-2) and settle any outstanding dues on iCloudems. 

3. Students who availed of a DRCC Loan or any bank loan services must email the sanctioned letter with the admission number to the finance department to download the admit card.

4. Verify your eligibility for the course(s) by downloading the updated Admit cards from your iCloudems Login 

5. To appear in the examinations, it is mandatory to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in both theory and practical classes. For Blended/Hybrid/Integrated courses, only theory class attendance will be considered for eligibility this term. Future semesters will calculate attendance based on both theory and practical classes. 

6. Avoid spreading or believing in unverified news or rumours not officially posted on the university website and LMS. 

7. Students lacking eligibility due to attendance shortages must attend the summer term classes starting from 1st July 2024, followed by internal assessments, mid-term exams, and end-term exams. Details about the summer term will be shared on the university LMS and Website shortly. 

8. Debarred students are informed to fill out the summer term form for Rs. 2300/Subject (Rs. 1800 for summer classes with (75% minimum attendance mandatory) + Rs. 500 for exams. 

Note: As per the UGC guidelines, students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to take the examinations. However, in response to multiple requests from students and parents citing serious health issues, family bereavement, and other valid reasons, the university has decided to temporarily lower the attendance criterion for the academic year 2023-2024. Students will now need to have a minimum of 50% attendance in each course to be eligible to appear in the End Term Examination. This change is a one-time measure for the specified academic year. The university will reinstate the minimum 75% attendance criterion starting from the academic year 2024-2025.

GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, UTTAR PRADESH CONVOCATION FOR STUDENTS QUALIFIED IN THE YEAR 2023

1.    The Convocation of Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh for the students who have successfully completed their academic programmes in 2023 will be held on Monday the 18th March 2024 at the University Campus.

2.    Hon’ble Shri Atanu Chakraborty Ji, Chairman HDFC Bank has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest on this occasion.

3.    A convocation is a special and memorable occasion in one’s life. The University hereby invites you to be present on this occasion to receive your degrees in the presence of the Hon’ble Chancellor.

4.    We will appreciate if you can, confirm your participation in the Convocation, latest by 10th March 2024 on the convocation portal through icloud login along with the convocation fee of Rs. 1000/-.

The registration on Convocation Portal will start w.e.f 7th March 2024 onwards.

5.    Please indicate the name and number of the guests/parents accompanying you (maximum of two (02) person per student)

6.    The graduands with identity proof and those who fulfill the following criteria will only be permitted to register:

1.    Confirmation Slip downloaded from convocation portal (refer para 4 above)

2.    Have no pending dues/Discipline case

7.    Detailed Programme and the instructions to be followed for attending the convocation ceremony shall be published shortly on the University website.

8.    The graduands who are not able to attend the convocation and wish to have degrees in absentia, can collect their degrees after convocation by depositing the fee of Rs. 500/- through Bank Draft/Cash in accounts section of the University.

SUBJECT : CAT-III EXAMINATIONS/CLEARANCE OF FEE DUES

Dear Galgotian,

Greetings. Hope you all are Safe and in good health. I am sure you all must have geared up for your upcoming offline CAT-III examinations and are preparing well. The offline examinations will be held on campus and we urge and request you to follow ALL Covid19 protocols including wearing masks at all times as set by the government and the University.

We also wish to inform you the following:

1.      That the rebate of 3% is the FINAL rebate for students paying on or before 31 March 2021 for the academic session 2021-22 and students and parents are requested to avail this final opportunity to benefit from the savings offered to help the students of Galgotias University.

2.      That as per the university policy the payment of fee for the academic session 2021-22 is due on the 7 April 2021 as mentioned on the prospectus and on the university’s official website year on year.

3.      That the CAT-III examinations are scheduled from 9 April 2021 and it is mandatory to clear the pending fee dues before the CAT-III examinations.

4.      That the Hall ticket/Admit card/ Entry in examination hall / Access to examination schedule on ERP-LMS will be given only to those students who have cleared the fee dues.

5.      That As per the rules and regulations of the university Non-Payment of fee dues post the above-mentioned date i.e 7 April 2021 will attract a late payment fine of Rs 200 Per day.
