Dear Students,

As you already know that the schedule of opening the campus and offline classes has already been uploaded on website and on social media. You will be happy to know that the Galgotias hostels will also be open to the students as per the following schedule:

1.     First Year Students ( New Admissions 2021 ) : 15 September 2021 onwards

2.     All other students (2, 3, 4 & 5 years): 27 August 2021 onwards.

Students can book their train/flight tickets as per the above dates and can occupy their rooms on arrival after booking the rooms. We sincerely request you to follow the Covid protocols set by the university as per directions of the UP State Govt and the University Grants commission (UGC).

A WORD OF CAUTION:

Several students living in out-campus hostels/ PG's / Unauthorized hostels having NON SANITISED UNHYGENIC CONDITIONS have complained Theft/drug abuse/indiscipline/ power failure / very poor food quality/ drinking water issues etc. Students and parents are requested NOT to take out campus hostels and not get influenced by touts who sell hostels and misguide several students and parents while taking admission.

FREE VACCINE FOR GALGOTIAS HOSTEL STUDENTS

We will be opening the hostel rooms after deep cleaning and sanitization for your health, safety and wellbeing. We have made a general policy of allowing those students to stay in on-campus hostels who have got vaccinated (fully or partially) with at least one dose of the Covid-19 Vaccine.

Those students who have not got vaccinated and would like to stay in on-campus hostels will get FREE vaccination done by the university. Once you book the room, you will need to register yourself for the vaccine when you reach campus. The warden will arrange the vaccination for you in GIMS hospital, which has a tie-up with Galgotias University. All Staff in the hostel is also vaccinated.

We look forward to welcoming you to the campus again. Let us all prevent the third wave by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

The Galgotias hostel has many facilities and has been renovated recently during lockdown to make the students stay as comfortable as possible. We have increased the facilities being provided in the hostel so students can keep themselves occupied and entertained and also have a conducive learning environment.

LIMITED ROOMS CAPACITY DUE TO COVID:

Due to Covid Protocols Galgotias hostels have limited rooms which will be given only on first cum first serve basis. We request you to book your hostel room in ADVANCE to avoid missing out on the bookings due to unavailability.

About Mess: Hygienic, quality food prepared by professionally-qualified cooks are provided to the students in the hostel canteen. Meals provided in the hostel mess are wholesome and nourishing. The mess caters to the tastes of the students with varied culinary preferences from different regions. The mess menu is planned and managed by the students in consultation with the caterer and the management

Remaining Fee (after adjustment of advance Hostel Fee) payable on or before commencement of Online/Offline Classes.

Demand Draft should be in favor of Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh payable at New Delhi/ Noida / Greater Noida.

Please bring/attach a copy of your Admission Offer Letter or you may write Applicant ID, Name, Program, and Fee Type (Hostel Fee) on the backside of Demand Draft.
